Welcome to the New www.s-and-d.org!

The first thing you'll notice is the new layout. At the top, the S&D logo remains, with our signature promise, "Lighting up the Past, Present and Future of the Mississippi River System." In addition, the historic image changes every time you load a page of the site.

The next item is the main menu, highlighted in the image above. Home will take you to the new home page, which lists the most recent additions to the site. After Home, each menu item includes sub-menus that let you quickly navigate to other sections of the site. About S&D includes basic information about the organization, including membership and how to contact us. S&D Reflector is a central location for everything associated with the magazine, including Web Exclusives, Reflections Online, and submissions. Resources offers research tools and further information, and Outreach concerns other programs with which S&D is involved.

Some of the content of this site requires that you create an account at www.s-and-d.org. In the image above, the login panel from the homepage is highlighted. Here, you can login to your account, or you can click Create account to submit a request for a member account. Current S&D members, fear not - you are guaranteed an account on this site at no cost. Simply click Create account, which will take you to the page shown below.

Here, fill out all the fields and the website administrator will approve your account shortly. Then you'll have access to everything the new S&D website has to offer!
